Presiono un botón de mi celular y una voz (en castellano de España) me dice “Diga un comando”. Lo digo, me entiende, y sigue mis instrucciones.

Llamo a mi banco, y una voz me habla “dime tu RUT”, “si quiere saber su saldo, diga ‘saldo’ ”. Lo digo, me entinede, y sigue mis instrucciones.

Así ‘humanizamos’ la interacción con las máquinas. La ‘suavizamos’. Antes era tosca. Meterle tarjetas perforadas. Meterle ensamblador. Hablarle en lenguajes de programación. Presionar botones, llenar formularios.

Ahora, le hablamos en castellano y responde en castellano. ¿Cuál es el límite?

¿En qué punto de la ‘humanización’ dejaremos de distinguirla cómo máquina? ¿Cuándo pasará a ser ‘inteligente’? Si una máquina emula al humano de manera de que es imposible distinguirla como máquina, ¿ha dejado de serlo?
